The JV will leverage excellent German technology from GRIMME and state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilities of Shaktiman to design and develop full-line solutions for potato and other root crops. The JV will enable both partners to optimize their current and future capabilities in the sub-75 HP category.

Founded by a progressive farmer late Shri Ladhubhai S. Gohil as A.G. Agro Industries in 1997 at Rajkot, Gujarat, the company envisioned to mechanize Indian agriculture completely.

150 years ago the family company was founded in the town of Damme, Lower Saxony, Germany.
The father of the current owner Franz Grimme began in the 1930s with the development of potato harvesters.
Today 2000 employees work around the world for the Grimme group.
This includes Grimme Landmaschinenfabrik but also the companies Spudnik (Potato technology manufacturer from the USA), ASA-LIFT (Vegetable technology manufacturer from Denmark) as well as Ricon (Sales company for parts), Internorm (Plastic Engineering) and Grimme Solutions (Engine erring services) from Damme.
